The inspiration for the “ST” comes from the hall of fame wall at the Ernest-Wallon Stadium, as well as from the scapular on the jersey of the “Vierge Rouge” (Red Virgin), the nickname given to the French championship team that remained undefeated during the 1911–1912 season.
